Red Lodge Bike Center provides a community space for bike repair and events. Experienced volunteers help guide self-repair, reuse bike/parts and mechanics are for hire. We provide local events and bike repair clinics.

Beartooth Pass to the Summit of 10,947 ft. 31 miles in from our downtown Red Lodge start.  Red Lodge is 5,555 ft. in elevation so you not only double your elevation but you'll see why the Beartooth Pass is not easily ridden.  Race? No, but we will crown one Beartooth La Femme Queen who reaches the summit first with our locally made flower crown. Clock will begin at 7:30.

Based out of our hometown, Red Lodge, Montana where the Beartooth Pass is our backyard. Just 12 miles up the road you’ll find the gate to one of the most scenic byways in North America. Get ready for astonishing views of one of the most rugged and wild areas in the lower 48 states. At the highway’s summit, you’ll find yourself in a sky-high world of glacial cirques, clear alpine lakes, and snow that lingers through the summer months.  We have broken this ride into a three day ride so you can enjoy the scenery even after you ride. 

Highlights

  • Three days of guided support on the Beartooth Pass and Chief Joseph Scenic Byway topping out at 10,947 feet and 8,071 feet. The total mileage, 149 miles, 12,242 feet elevation gain. Start and finish in Red Lodge, Montana. Route plans are given after registration.
  • Two nights of cabin lodging on Beartooth Pass and foothills of Beartooth Mountains.
  • Fresh and healthy meals, including locally sourced items. 
  • Red Lodge area has much to offer in town and out on the trails. We will provide a list of our partners and help you navigate a great stay before and after the ride should you choose to extend your time here.
  • The accommodations are on the glamping side of things but include bedding, showers and basic comforts out of the weather - cabins at  and a shared log cabin.

25, 50 and 4-ish miler to choose from along with camping at Red Lodge Mountain and stay through Sunday for the Nitty Gritty. Red Lodge Mountain offers scenic lift rides, disc golf, hiking and the Bierstube is open for food and beverages. Route is on Ride with GPS.
